Environmental Ethics and Trail Etiquette

Conservation Halton biking trails pass through sensitive natural areas that protect plants and wildlife. Staying on the marked trails and not littering or removing natural materials helps protect these beautiful parks. Mountain bikers should keep to the right and always yield to other trail users.

Daily trail passes are mandatory.

Mountain Biking Safety

There are some risks associated with Mountain Biking in natural areas. Some of the trails follow shorelines, cliff edges, or have sloped areas where caution should be exercised.  Helmets must be worn at all times when mountain biking and riders should always be in control of their bikes.

Bicycle helmets are mandatory.
