Environmental Ethics and Boating Safety

Conservation Halton reservoirs are important water control features that reduce flooding and augment summer flows for healthy creeks. The reservoirs also provide recreational opportunities and habitat for plants and animals. When boating, it’s important not to disturb wildlife or remove natural materials. People are reminded to observe Ontario’s new boating regulations and to wear approved floatation devices.
